International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety (IAASS)

The International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety has pledged to promote and further develop the IAASS/IASL "Proposal for an Operational and Regulatory Framework to Ensure Space Debris Removal". Don Kessler, retired NASA leading space debris scientist said about the proposal: "I believe it is an interesting framework that may go around many of the policy and legal issues that any single government agency or private company would encounter".
